Strategic Plan

Publication cover - Strategic PlanDDCI challenges structures of power that perpetuate injustice and exploitation of people in the Global South, specifically focusing on unjust transfers of wealth from the Global South to the Global North.

As the dynamics of the global environment have changed and evolved over the years, so has the work of DDCI. The core development issues DDCI now focus on are unjust resource flows and power relations between the Global North and Global South. Unjust resource flows happen in many different ways, for example, through unfair debt repayments, corporations not declaring enough taxes on profits made in Southern countries, or through damaging economic policies promoted by rich governments and international lending institutions in Southern countries.
